1. Sponsor
ShopBack Inc. (the "Sponsor" or “ShopBack”). This Sweepstakes is offered in connection with ShopBack's partnership with University of Texas at Austin Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (“University”). This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with University, except as may be separately disclosed. This Sweepstakes is also not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc. ("Apple") or Google LLC ("Google"). Apple and Google are not sponsors of, and have no involvement whatsoever with, this Sweepstakes.
2. Sweepstakes Period
This Sweepstakes begins July 16, 2026, at 12:00:00 a.m. Central Time (CT) and ends November 27, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. CT (the "Entry Period"). The Entry Period is tied to the 2026 University football regular season schedule.
3. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (excluding residents of Florida and New York) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotion agencies, University, and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible. Sponsor may require proof of eligibility. This Sweepstakes is void in Florida, New York, and wherever else prohibited by law.
4. How to Enter
During the Entry Period,
- download the ShopBack mobile application (the "App") free of charge,
- create a ShopBack account (free of charge; account creation does not constitute a purchase or payment of any kind), and
- enter promo code SBPUNT during account registration or in the promotions section of an existing account.
Each qualified entry constitutes one (1) entry into this Sweepstakes for the duration of the Entry Period. LIMIT ONE (1) VALID ENTRY PER PERSON FOR THE ENTIRE ENTRY PERIOD.
General Entry Conditions: Entries generated by script, macro, multiple accounts, or other automated or fraudulent means will be void. Sponsor is not responsible for misdirected, incomplete, lost, late, illegible, or delayed entries, or for technical, hardware, software, or network failures of any kind affecting a person's ability to participate. In the event of sabotage, acts of God, computer virus, or other events beyond Sponsor's control that corrupt the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrants and/or modify, suspend, or cancel the Sweepstakes, and, in the event of cancellation, to award prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring cancellation. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
5. Entry Limits
Limit one (1) entry per person/account during the Entry Period. Sponsor may disqualify entrants attempting to use multiple accounts or other methods to exceed this limit.
6. Winner Selection
Each time a University football player returns a punt or a kickoff for a touchdown (a "Qualifying Return") during a scheduled game within the Entry Period, one (1) potential winner will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible Entries then on file. Sponsor will designate a neutral method (e.g., randomized selection software) to conduct each drawing.
Each potential winner will be notified by Sponsor via push notification and/or email using the contact information associated with their ShopBack account and must satisfy all eligibility requirements, including timely response and execution of any required releases, within five (5) business days of notification. Winning is contingent on fulfilling all requirements in these Official Rules. Sponsor will never request payment information to claim a prize.
If a potential winner (i) cannot be reached, (ii) declines the prize, (iii) fails to comply with these Official Rules, or (iv) does not respond within the required window, then that person will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected by alternate random drawing from remaining eligible Entries.
Each person may win no more than one (1) prize during the Entry Period. If a prior winner is selected in a subsequent drawing, then that selection will be void and an alternate winner will be drawn.
Odds of winning any individual drawing depend on the total number of eligible Entries received as of that drawing. Sponsor's decisions on all matters regarding this Sweepstakes are final and binding.
7. Prizes
The total prize pool for this Sweepstakes is Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00 USD) (the "Prize Pool"). The Prize Pool will be divided equally among all winners selected during the Entry Period based on the total number of Qualifying Returns that occur across University’s entire 2026 regular season.
By way of example: if there is one (1) Qualifying Return during the Entry Period, then the single winner receives $25,000. If there are two (2) Qualifying Returns, each of the two (2) winners receives $12,500. If there are four (4) Qualifying Returns, then each of the four (4) winners receives $6,250, and so on.
Because the final per-winner prize amount depends on the total number of Qualifying Returns across the season, winners will be notified of the drawing result during the season but the exact prize amount will not be confirmed and paid until sixty (60) days after conclusion of the Entry Period (i.e., sixty (60) days after the end of University’s football regular season).
THE TOTAL APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV") OF ALL PRIZES COMBINED IS $25,000.00 USD. The per-winner ARV depends on the total number of Qualifying Returns during the Entry Period.
If no Qualifying Return occurs during the Entry Period, then no prize will be awarded. No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value in its sole discretion. If a game is postponed or canceled, then no Qualifying Return can occur during that game.
Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC (or equivalent) to any winner receiving $2,000 or more in prize value during the calendar year, as required by law. Prizes will be fulfilled within a reasonable time following the conclusion of the Entry Period and verification of all winners.
8. Publicity
Except where prohibited, entry into this Sweepstakes constitutes permission for Sponsor to use each winner's name, username/handle, city/state, likeness, and entry content for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
9. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entry that Sponsor determines (in its sole discretion) is fraudulent, incomplete, violates these Official Rules, violates platform rules, or is otherwise inconsistent with the intent of this Sweepstakes. Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify this Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of this Sweepstakes.
10. Release of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotion agencies, University, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability arising from participation or acceptance/use of any prize. PRIZES ARE AWARDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
11. Privacy
Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy, available at https://support.shopback.com/hc/en-us/articles/33321399347475-ShopBack-Privacy-Policy, and will be used for administering this Sweepstakes and for marketing communications per user preferences and applicable law.
12. Disputes / Governing Law
All disputes will be governed by applicable U.S. law and the laws of the state of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes shall be settled by binding, individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, available at www.adr.org. The arbitrator shall apply Delaware law consistent with the Federal Arbitration Act and any applicable statutes of limitations. ENTRANTS AND SPONSOR EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE THE CLAIMS OF MORE THAN ONE ENTRANT. If any part of this arbitration provision is found unenforceable, then the remainder shall remain in effect, except that if the class action waiver is found unenforceable, this entire arbitration provision shall be null and void, and neither party shall be entitled to arbitrate the dispute.
